With our in house inserting lines, we can wrap items from A5 to tabloid newspaper size. We’ll print and insert a carrier sheet, either in full colour or black & white. We can also insert or onsert additional items into the pack.
When you need to mail out catalogues, brochures, magazines or newsletters, poly and starch wrap are ideal options. They're both strong and weather resistance to protect your publication, cheaper than envelopes, and with our high-speed inserting lines, which run at around 10,000 items per hour, perfect for larger volumes.
As poly/starch wrap is a lighter material than paper, it can help to keep the pack weight down, which is important when it comes to postage costs. And, because it's transparent, the publication inside can be clearly seen by the recipient.
We'll print and insert a one or full colour carrier sheet, along with any additional times you wish to include in your pack.
Clear poly wrap has been the go to for mailing brochures, magazines and catalogues for many years. And it’s not surprising; it’s cost effective, light, strong and weather resistant, making it extremely effective at the task it is required to fulfil. But, because it’s a plastic product, it’s earned itself the image of the bad boy of direct mail.
However, the standard film we use is low-density, LDPE 4 with no degradation additives. It can be recycled at recycling points or larger stores, or at kerbside in some local authority areas. We recommend printing a clear message on the carrier sheet to highlight this message to your customers.
Potato starch wrap is as strong and durable as clear poly but contains no oil-based materials, plastics or harmful toxins, so it’s 100% compostable and biodegradable.
Standard starch wrap has a slightly milky, opaque appearance with a silky, premium feel and stands out as being different to standard poly wrap. High Clarity starch wrap has all the environmental benefits of standard starch wrap, but because it’s clear, it helps achieve greater discounts on postage costs, which helps to offset the cost of it being a premium product.
Whether you’ve got a one off mailing or a regular subscription title, 1,000 or tens of thousands, speak to us today to find out how we can help.
No, although poly/potato starch is generally the most cost-effective for mailings over 500 items. We don’t have a maximum number we can run on our lines.
Paper wrap is ideal for magazines, catalogues, brochures, pospectuses, charity appeals and lots more. We can wrap from A5 to A4 publications and up to 4 items into each pack.
We’ll insert a carrier sheet, which can be printed one side or both, black & white, or full colour.
Our standard clear poly can be recycled at kerbside by some local authorities or at recycling points and larger stores. Potato starch wrap should be put in compost or food recycling bins.
