Kev does Movember

I've succumbed to the peer pressure put on me by my work mates and decided to ditch the razors and go hairy for Movember. Even Mrs Brown has given the okay on it, so there's no going back now.
It's still early days but so far, so good. The facial hair is coming along nicely, or so I'm told by the guys in the office! It may even need a bit of styling at some point soon.
So why do it? Because it's fun, and we all need a bit of that in our lives. But more importantly, to raise awareness, not just of male cancers, but how this monster disease affects everyone's lives in one way or another.
Most of you know Amelia's story. She was one of the lucky ones. She's now six years clear but the trauma never goes away. We've experienced first hand how valuable the support and care provided by Macmillan nurses is to families when they need it most. Their work is unconditional and dedication is endless. But they need our support to continue to provide their services and improve the lives of people living with cancer.
So, please dig deep and together let's show our support. If you'd like to sponsor me, please click here.
Update...
Last few days of Movember and Kevin's doing well. In fact, we can't remember what he looks like without beard now! Keep the beard, and the support growing. If you haven't sponsored him yet, click here
