We're proud to carbon capture all our paper

And we encourage our customers to do the same
We support The Woodland Trust
At KJS we care about the environment we live in, which is why we like to do whatever we can to best protect it which is why we chose to join the Carbon Capture Scheme.
Carbon Capture is a low cost, environmental initiative that creates new native woodland in the UK.
By being part of the Carbon Capture Scheme enables us to mitigate the CO2 emissions created by the production, storage and distribution of all the paper we purchase for our clients' print. For each paper order we pay a fee based upon the amount of CO2 emitted as a result of the paper used. It’s calculated at £8.50 per tonne which works out at just 2p per ream of A4 80gsm. 100% of this contribution is passed on to the Woodland Trust to fund the planting of trees in certified Woodland Carbon sites across the UK. There are no deductions for administration or the like.
We encourage our customers to join the scheme
What are the benefits of the Scheme?
Joining the Carbon Capture Scheme will help you raise your environmental and sustainability credentials. It’s a tangible, long lasting demonstration of your commitment and responsible approach to the environment which you can use within marketing and corporate messages as well as tenders.
In addition...
– You will receive a personalised Woodland Carbon logo which can be used on your marketing literature, web communications and print jobs (where Carbon Capture paper has been used) and enhance your brand.
– We will send you a certificate confirming the amount of CO2 captured and the area of new native woodland that has been planted on a quarterly, six monthly or annual basis.
– You’ll be invited to attend an annual tree planting day. It’s a great way to get your employees to get involved, connect with nature and see first hand the benefits of this initiative.

Why are trees important to our environment?
Trees can absorb carbon that would otherwise be released into the atmosphere, as well as helping to improve air and water quality, preventing soil erosion and providing a sustainable source of low-carbon fuel.
The planting of trees creates more areas of natural habitat and much-needed space for nature and wildlife and also establishes new woodlands for generations of people to enjoy.
